SPIRITUAL REFRESHMENT

  • Do less of social media – The Clint Eastwood movie, “The good, the bad, the ugly”, recreated itself in social media but in an invasive form. Blame your cell phones, social media is hard to escape. It’s harder to be strongly plugged into spiritual plane if you consume everything on social media. It’s like that buddy you don’t need to be hanging around because he’s not good for you. Limit your time with social media and when your spiritual anchor is strong enough, you will be able to discern and keep away from the bad actors online.
  • Take care of your body – It’s hard to strengthen the spirit when the body is sick, weak, and vulnerable to opposition’s forces. Take good care of your body with common sense approach and you will align it with what the spiritual requires of it. Feed yourself healthy food and information, reading labels of food you buy to verify what ingredients are there. To know more about healthy food sources, check here.

Relaxation is Spiritual

travel, hobbies, etc. – Diversions are good for the soul if they are good diversions. They get your mind off daily routines and on things you are not used to especially if you travel outside of where you live.

Relaxation is good medicine
  • Service essential relationships – Loneliness is a gradual killer of spiritual authority. It isolates and leaves you alone with your thoughts which tend to wander from good to bad and from ugly to worse. If unchecked by the presence and voices of real people with whom you have something in common, loneliness can establish a negative stronghold in your life. Essential relationships with other people offer you a place to interact with other thoughts and ideas. It gives you a place and times to laugh and feel good about life and yourself, or encourages you to do better. They provide a place of safety and reassurance when your world is invaded by unpleasant events or occurrences that are common to life.
